Mapping and Modelling services
Precision mapping for 2d orthomosaic & 3d model creation.
Make better decisions with accurate 3D maps and models. Combining drone surveying and photogrammetry, maps and models can be created with accuracy allowing precise measurement and inspection of a fully coloured three-dimensional models. A drone flight can produce thousands of measurements, which can be represented in different formats (orthomosaic, point cloud, DTM, DSM, contour lines, etc). Each pixel of the produced map or point of the 3D model contains 3D geo-data. You are no longer limited by unreachable areas, unsafe steep slopes or harsh terrain unsuitable for traditional measuring tools. You do not need to close down highways or railway networks.
Topographic survey data acquisition
Reduce field time and overall surveying time by using our services to acquire the data for your site. At Rotor Pixel we map medium to large scale sites and geo-reference the data set with existing known points for absolute accuracy. Data sets are exported in your preferred format for importing into CAD design or your chosen GIS software. Using our service boosts efficiency, improves accuracy and reduces operational costs. What’s more the process offers precise repeatable data capture removing human error and the opportunity for frequent updating of survey maps.
Information acquired from mapping provides the required information for calculating volumes. We can calculate stock piles, trench volumes and much more. Volume Measurement with Rotor Pixel is an extremely fast, accurate and cost-effective method for analysing volumes from data collected at your site. Our measurements are accurate within 1-2% of traditional ground based laser measurements.
Development comparison reports
We work with companies on a variety of commercial, residential and greenspace developments to deliver construction progress reports and project analytics. Aerial photos, maps, and 3D models have the power to transform your workflow. Not only can drones save your project money and resources, but they also give your team a rich set of data for more informed communication and decision making. By spending less than an hour each week mapping your job site, you can identify trends, check progress consistency and account stock at the job site.
